Several weeks ago a gray fox and her kits took up residence on the Facebook campus and have since garnered quite a lot of attention amongst employees and the press. Despite not actually having seen them “in the flesh” myself, the foxes are one of those special moments that show up in my News Feed and put a smile on my face.
The photos and videos of the little fox family have also captured the interest of my kids — they gush every time I share the latest with them. And because my daughter is currently quite enchanted with LEGO, the foxes are an opportunity to unleash my own inner child (read: dork) to make something special for her.
So with that in mind, the other night I put together a custom LEGO fox kit using the free LEGO Digital Designer app and I’m making it available to anyone who wants to build their own. The kit contains the complete parts list with piece IDs for LEGO’s Pick-a-Brick service along with detailed step-by-step visual assembly instructions.
