A Long Way

A lot of praise gets heaped onto Dave Grohl as rock’s consummate nice guy, but Eddie Vedder may also be equally deserving of that title. The thing with this performance from the Ohana Festival is the end moments of the song where you see Eddie not as a big rock star, but simply a proud dad as he smiles and goofs around with his daughter.

Bonus points for just being a cracker of a song with rhythm section juggernauts Chad Smith on drums and Pino Palladino on bass.
