Tonight I learned the news of the tragic and unexpected passing of Hugh Weber. I’m shocked and completely heartbroken. Although we’d not had the opportunity to meet in person, he was someone I considered a friend. Hugh arrived properly into my life at a time during the pandemic when I needed a little creative nudge, though I was following his journey quietly prior to that moment. He was a like-minded creative and curious soul with a genuine, humble, and infectious spirit, and a dedicated father who loved his family more than anything.

Everyone who knew or had even the briefest moment to interact with Hugh is better for his being in the world, and the creative community has lost an important guiding light.
