Earth is Over

There is no single more critical issue at hand than climate change. It demands to be the center of our attention in every decision we make as a species. As scientists around the globe have declared — continuing down the same paths we have for too long already may result in crossing the point of no return, if we haven’t already.

50 years after John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s urgent and memorable “War is Over! If You Want it” campaign, Earth is Over! recalls their approach as a call to action to protect our planet — and save ourselves. We must acknowledge what we’re up against yet act with hope to turn the tide.

This work was expected to anchor a larger collection of related work from the Analog Lab and Artist in Residence program in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held back in favor of a less ominous message.
