Good Design Is

Dieter Rams’ 10 Principles of Good Design are well-known throughout the design world. Since the 1970s, they’ve become like a defacto measuring stick for the usefulness and practicality of design projects around the world and across industries, including tech. Here, I took 4 of the 10 principles and developed them into a Swiss-influenced poster design to commemorate a significant anniversary of one of Facebook’s earliest designers.

These four principles were selected because of how they aligned with the company’s design approach, especially as it was evolving at the time to be more systematic and comprehensive.
